Another classic from Smith and Foulkes at Nexus; a brand ad for the power of the new Intel Core i5 chipset told by way of a chase thriller across the landscape of a computer desktop.
It integrates a huge amount of detail into it’s short narrative with several clever devices used to tell the story of our heroine’s get away. The spot was shot in Prague on 35mm by renowned DoP Oliver Wood (Bourne). We were tasked with grading the live action footage and any cleanup and beauty work needed. We also undertook to add more atmospheric effects to the ending alleyway scene and some hidden retouch on the pool and car sequences.
The graded and retouched footage was put together into the multi-layered animated timeline back at Nexus.
