From the creative team at Karmarama comes this headlining ad to Lastminute.com’s campaign to get us up and out this summer. The spot was shot by Anthony Dickenson across three continents in the course of four short and hectic production weeks.

It was a challenging project from the post-production standpoint as it brought together a huge array of formats that needed finessing into the final film. We were cutting between stills time-lapse photographs, Canon 5D and 7D HD video footage, Phantom high speed footage and RED. It was critical that all of the shots held up in the edit so there was a fair amount of refining on the lesser formats, especially as we knew that the final 60 second was destined for cinemas as a 35mm print.
In addition there was lots of hidden post work including beauty, sky replacements and some multiple plate compositing of different takes.
