This was a fun viral that we helped put together for Director Ben Jones.

Ryan Giggs is seen having a kick-about in an indoor five-aside pitch.
That trusty left foot doesn’t let him down as he sets about potting a series of coloured balls into upturned traffic cones pool style.

The spot was filmed up in Bolton and Matt Wilmshurst supervised the shoot so that back in Shoreditch we could give Ryan a little “helping hand”.
Ben wanted to work with a 100% handheld camera which we agreed would really give the spot more authenticity. Of course it threw up a lot more work in the process.
Besides helping the balls on their way there was hefty amount of cleanup to maintain the continuity of the balls around the court as the spot was brought together from a number of takes.
In fact it wasn’t as easy to get the balls into the cones by hand as they’d assumed. The last ball took nearly 30 attempts to roll into the cone from around 3 meters!
Take a look….

So not wishing to take anything away from “Sir” Ryan it was a fun job to be involved with.
